Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Highbridge Stone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Hartford working with agencies and riders, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
