Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Pike Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
