Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Nova Bright Manufacturing is a Virginia Beach manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
