Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Vale Water Authority Partners and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
