Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Foxglove Ivory Foods produces packaged foods at its Fresno plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 186 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
