Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Oak Foods and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
