Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Rivermark Ashton Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Boise. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
