Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Harborlight Field Manufacturing is a San Diego manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 185 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
