Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Ironwood Fern Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Omaha plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 644 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
