Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Bluepeak Clear Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
