Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Bridge Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 905 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
