Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Amberfield Quill Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Fresno with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
