Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Vale Water Authority Partners and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
