Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Nova Sable Manufacturing Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 743 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
