Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Lakeside Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
