Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Redstone Quarry Farms Partners is an agricultural business based around Denver, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
