Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Redstone Umber Facilities Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 842 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
