Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Ironwood Cedar Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Charleston. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
