Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Bluepeak Partners coordinates shipments and warehousing around Madison, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
