Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Forge Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
