Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Redstone Orchard Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
