Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Stonegate Union Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Albuquerque, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
