Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Providence, RI)

Rivermark Quarry Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Providence design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
