Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Providence, RI)

Stonegate Willow Auto Group is a Providence company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 94 people based in Providence. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
