Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Providence, RI)

Ironwood Bright Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Providence and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
