Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Providence, RI)

Cedar Junction Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Providence area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
