Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Providence, RI)

Nova Vista Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Providence area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Providence. What you will do • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
