Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Cedar Wren Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 92 people based in Portland. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
