Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Stonegate West Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
