Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Portland, OR)

Bright Basin Facilities Group cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Portland. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Portland. What you will do • Track performance measures for supply orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
