Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Portland, OR)

Stonegate Clear Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Portland. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people based in Portland. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
