Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Keystone Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
