Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Pittsburgh, PA)

Cedar Rowan Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
