Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Phoenix, AZ)

Cedar Hollow Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Phoenix. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer sites and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
