Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Phoenix, AZ)

Nova Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Phoenix area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
