Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Phoenix, AZ)

Highbridge River Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Phoenix and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
