Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Phoenix, AZ)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Umber Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
