Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Philadelphia, PA)

Lumen Union Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 617 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scheduling.
