Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Quill Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
