Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Summit Mill Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 59 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
