Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Oakland, CA)

Foxglove Juniper Foods Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
