Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Forge Environmental Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 137 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
