Operations Manager - throughput and quality (New Orleans, LA)

Harborlight Fern Farms Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
