Operations Manager - throughput and quality (New Orleans, LA)

Stonegate Pine Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
