Operations Manager - throughput and quality (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Stone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in New Orleans working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
