Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Nashville, TN)

Bluepeak Union Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Nashville, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
