Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Northwind Sable Manufacturing and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 882 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
