Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Milwaukee, WI)

Amberfield Lantern Construction is a Milwaukee contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
