Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Miami, FL)

Amberfield Sparrow Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Miami with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
