Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Louisville, KY)

Rivermark Kestrel Manufacturing is a Louisville manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 897 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
